Sum Ting Wong maybe having the worst All Stars showing of all time?

I’ve only seen the English queens on this before so I’m enjoying seeing a lot of international queens highlighted.

I’m finding Khianna slay but I don’t like any of her runway or challenge looks so she’s only half there for me. Arizona Brandy is my runaway fave!! She’s hilarious and looks great!!! I hope she wins. All the Filipino girls seem way better than the rest though, lol.

Tbf they’ve got like pretty much the biggest PH queens who everyone would want to see on an All Stars (other than Marina who has already done vTW) vs queens you’d barely pass a glance at to cast on All Stars for their own franchise Although I suppose that says more about the options they had and how few Asian queens do get cast WW and end up shining.

Considering she went home last time she did an unconventional design look, Viñas casually pulling off one of THE best design looks the entirety of Drag Race has ever seen by using leaves is absolutely crazy. Kitty smashed it too, not sure why Yuhua was such a twat to her when I thought it was a clear top 2 and her outfit was stunning.

Siam lowkey was bottom 1 for this challenge, Ivory’s was simple but I think I’d have her low and Siam bottom. But bless her Ivory was out of her depth in this cast.

I’m incredibly disappointed in Bernie also, she was my top pick for All Stars out of all 3 seasons but she is giving basically nothing and is also invisible in the episodes. Pre season she was my winner but I’m definitely rooting for Arizona and Viñas the most.

Yuhua is really being such an asshole, I hope she turns it around.

I feel bad for Bernie, had this been a “normal” PH All Stars in Tagalog she would have easily been a frontrunner but it must be difficult to be in an environment where everyone is mostly speaking English when your English level is lower than everyone’s. I get the feeling she can understand just fine but has difficulty expressing herself and connecting with people so she seemed quite withdrawn and in her own bubble sadly.

But with regards to THIS season, her head and heart sadly was clearly not in it and she was giving basically nothing sadly so I think it was her time to go.

Yuhua locking in to serve c**t with runway, challenge and lipsync after giving nothing all season so far is high camp, didn’t expect that! That Snatch video was an absolute home run, so clever and snappy, witty and timely, incredibly sharp.

Brigiding had no need to in the top as well when Yuhua and Viñas were the clear tops, they seem to be highlighting her runways (and even, Viñas had the best runway) but I think in that case they need to do a Drag Race Thailand season 2 style runway win. If a franchise wants to highlight runways more that’s great but they could do a top 2 with a challenge winner and a runway winner if so tbh.

Also am I that friend who’s too woke or was Viñas’ reaction to Siam a huge ick?! Like bc if her spiritualism and religion?! I do think it sounds like Siam’s possession thing was a bigger deal/went on longer than the show portrayed it but I don’t think it was that deep lol

I got the impression that Vinas was trying to give drama after Mama Pao praised her for it on the mainstage before when she was the only one who would name a name for the weak link.

Honestly the international girls have been kindatragic ngl

They didn’t cast anyone competitive from international franchises really but then I suppose there were limited options when you look at other franchises and which Asian queens have competed. I think Kitty has been lowkey the strongest alongside Suki (and she’s only really shone in looks challenges and maybe her couple of lipsyncs I guess) and should have lasted longer but I think she would have slipped at either Snatch Game or the Lala.

But still, they could have gone for maybe Kandy, Genie, Zepee or Vanda for Thailand, depending on her level of English I think Zepee could have definitely put up a challenge to the PH onslaught. It’s an open secret that Kandy was pretty much on GAS and got pulled for mentioning it so her English level must be good enough to do this and I think she’d be a locked in finalist. Plus Vanda nearly made the final and was lowkey robbed/pulled the entire season and that was on a season in Thai when she didn’t even speak it I don’t know that Genie would have finished any higher than Siam but the others definitely.

It’s been a great season and even the international queens had moments but they really could have just done PH All Stars or PH vs Thailand to try and bolster Thailand or something. It does seem like they just want a PH queen to win, they haven’t really had to push Viñas or Arizona as they have smashed it but they are really going all in on pushing Brigiding as hard as possible imo. I think it’s a bit like GAS (this has definitely been judged fairer than that though) where the judges are naturally going to gravitate towards the PH queens due to being receptive to their culture and references etc, already having a relationship and rapport with them, it’s always going to give a bit of a bias sadly.

I think they might not have bet on Siam and Sum Ting kinda flopping. Yoko and Ivory were definitely cast as early outs but they always do cast a couple for these seasons.

Yes Sum Ting was an early out on UK1 but she went HIGH-HIGH-BTM-OUT and the highs were for both a runway challenge and an acting challenge, so she had range, and they knew she could sing so her going home for girlgroups was probably a bit unexpected. Siam was more all over the place on her first season but was a good runway queen.

I guess they also might not have expected the Ph girls to all come so hard with their a-game (to be fair, Bernie didn't!) This is essentially Khianna's second season back to back; Arizona was kind of a flukey top 2 in her season - which has played into her storyline here - and Brigiding wasn't great at the Drag Race format in her first season. Imo the only ones they were probably sure would do well again were Vinas and Bernie!

Just finished catching up and I love this season so much. Pinay queens are really excelling. Viñas and Brigiding are slaying so hard. Arizona is also really good especially compared to her season appearance, it’s giving Alaska. I really can’t tell who will win out of the three (and let’s be honest, one of them will win).

Yuhua grew on me in second half of the season, she is really good tv but without being malicious or unnecessarily shady and cunty. Suki Doll is such a babe too, what a great transformation from her season! Sad that Kitty Space left so early and I saw that coming with the mass exodus of international queens unfortunately. Sum Ting though, girrrrl what a mess, she didn’t come off well tho season at all.
