I think this is a good edition, hardly any top tens missing from the period. It’s a shame Golden isn’t there but it’s too huge still I suppose or Netflix just aren’t offering it for licensing at all.

If they can include Chappell Roan and Charli XCX’s 2020 songs on Now 120 and Now 121, respectively, then they could’ve included Coldplay and Oasis. Shame they didn’t appear especially with one of Oasis songs going top 20 for the first time

I'm actually pleased those didn't appear due to the OCC bending rules during festival season, or that would be a running theme for future volumes we don't want to see tbh.

The sombr omission is quite a sore one considering the double feature on the last volume, so not sure why that got overlooked. Could have stuck on we never dated at the end of Disc 2 at the very least.

Double Lewis, Ed, Olivia, Lola, RAYE and Jazzy seems excessive again, especially for a 41 track compilation (not sure why there was space left off discs there).

I love that artwork and the colour theme used!🩷💜🌙 I had a feeling they’d change it up a bit after three consecutive years of similar dark themes for the winter volumes.

I like the flow of the tracklist, and glad they included most of the songs I predicted. Gutted about HUNTR/X but I was expecting Golden to be omitted.

I’m not complaining that only 41 tracks have been included, as I do believe that less is more with Now’s, but it’s surprising to think that only just over a year ago it was the norm to have 50 tracks or just under!

For the Oasis songs, they could’ve done with Acquiesce or Slide Away and Sparks would’ve been a good edition for Coldplay but the Chappell and Charli situation is the same as both their songs were old. As for Sombr, 12 To 12 might be forgotten by April. The Tate McRae song is quite old now. They could’ve at least given us Just Keep Watching if they didn’t wanna give us Tit For Tat which I hope appears on Now 123. Maybe Golden might be on there too as the soundtrack should die out by April. Them not being included is probably due to the soundtrack still being number 1 on the compilation chart

Didn't something similar happen some years back with We Don't Talk About Bruno and then months later it showed up on a volume?

Just realised the pig is absent from the front cover but is on the back cover!

And is it just me or does the last “2” on the artwork look out of proportion with the other numbers?

It was a big hit in January/February 2022, and shown up on Now 111, but Disney songs are often hit or miss in being represented on numbered Nows.

Golden is one of those, still too big, but could also be akin to Kate Bush and Running Up That Hill in 2022. Made big by Netflix but won’t make it on a compilation due to being too big. Could have made Now 112 or Now 113 otherwise.

I am gutted it didn’t make it, as it was the biggest smash over the last 3 months. But hey ho, this is what Now is all about!

I wasn’t bothered about Running Up That Hill missing Now 112 and Now 113 as it was already on Now 6. As for Demon Hunters, shame they didn’t give us Soda Pop as a compromise. We’ll have to wait and see if Golden ends up on Now 123. It’s a shame that Calvin Harris, Sombr and JADE all missed out. They gave us Perrie who is no way bigger than JADE in terms of solo hits. At least with the Barbie soundtrack, they gave Now one of their songs for 116

There was much more of a case for her to have a double appearance on this volume than Lola Young for example.

Agreed and as for Lola, they missed out D£aler which was actually the biggest hit of the three. No Gone Gone Gone either considering they seem to love David Guetta

As you guys know I’ve been doing a lot of my own versions of the late 80s/very early 90s versions of Now’s. Not you guys as you all seem to be positive about the Now’s even nowadays, but a lot of people on Facebook and X, complain about omissions and how Now is “coming to an end”, but if you look back on Now 1-19 in particular, so many songs were omitted and there was barely over 30 tracks per album. And that’s the START of the series that became so massive. They survived then and they should survive now. Unfortunately, most people including myself look back on Now 60-109 (maybe) as the prime of now’s where most big tracks were included. For a generation where most people listen to music digitally I’m just fortunate that these albums are still going.

Shame Chihiro missed out too seeing as it went top 10 and got playlisted recently by radio 1. If it was playlisted by radio 2, it would’ve definitely appeared

It was never a single, it only got added to promote her during festivals. Never expected to see that at all.

You mean missed Now 116 as it charted in 2023. I’m surprised Victory Lap got included too and nice to see two other 1xtra artists on there (Doja Cat and RAYE) besides Skepta
