They didn’t give us Word Of Mouth for any of the 1991 yearbooks even though they gave us The Living Years for 1989. Seeing as they love to put songs on there that belong on the vault, they should’ve given us Do What U Like for extra and have Promises on main instead

Perhaps they’re scared to announce it because of your scathing iTunes reviews.

It’s like you completely ignored everything I had to say. It’s wild that I was told this by someone in the music industry and you’re just like “no” who probably has no experience in the field whatsoev

Lots of stuff I'm happy to see, like Praise, Cathy Dennis, Kim Appleby and Take That, with Monty Python a fun last track novelty.

Ouch at the Dannii typo.

What are the main ommissions for 1991 then? Bryan Adams, Simpsons, Right Said Fred, 2 Unlimited and the absence of the Christmas No.1 with no These Are The Days Of Our Lives.

No Enigma either, or even maybe just a sniff of Iron Maiden's 'Bring Your Daughter...'.

Also yes, the inclusion of anything David Sylvian is absolutely baffling. The 90's Yearbooks so far to me, feel weak comparatively to the 70's and 80's Yearbooks. It saddens me because the 90's is my favourite decade and NOW just struggles with licensing issues for this decade.

Heck, Moby's 'Go' on Yearbook 1991 was some kind of 2006 remix which sounded nothing like the original. That threw me off an otherwise amazing disc.

It's a nice compilation, one of the better ones from Now. I bought the CD when it came out and my friend recently gave me the vinyl as an early Christmas present.

It’s a shame they ignored Xpansions and Alison Limerick from both 1991 yearbooks when both were on the such a good feeling eras and the latter is also unavoidable thanks to John Lewis

I would also think they should have done one disc with rave hits only. It is really underrepresented.

Just received NOW 122 and think it is quite good except the last 5 songs on disc 2. Sombr really missing. Would have also tried to include Zombie from Yungblud.

Also received 60-62 - a good addition for me as I had only about 6 songs from it before.

The Simpsons not is even on the '91 Extra album. Damn.

yeah clearly rights issues there, could have had Do The Bartman on the main one and Deep Deep Trouble on the extra.

Looking forward to Vault 82 and hope it's happening. Also hope for 85-89 soon.

As much as I’m excited for vault 1982, I was expecting 12" 1986 part 1 to be this weeks announcement. Saying that, I reckon there could be a double announcement on Thursday with one of them being released 16th January and the other being released 23rd January. They’ll need to do 1985-1989 and its extra in order to further proceed with the vault after 1982

I know the “2” looks a bit off but here’s my attempt of Now 123’s artwork😁IMG_1947.png

And they’ll more likely release it on 10th April. For the spring Nows, they should set their release dates for last Friday in March rather than first Friday in April as they’d release it the second Friday in April if first Friday is Easter weekend like they did in 2023

I’ve noticed 9 times out of 10 since 2015, the Now’s have the exact same release date as the Now exactly 20 years before. I’m guessing Now 123 will either be 3rd April 2026 or like 10th April 2026, exactly 20 years after Now 63.

I agree that the spring Now release dates have always been odd. I’ve noticed on your list that Now 39, Now 57, Now 66, Now 81 and Now 96 are their actual release dates which shows they’re quite random.

Finally the Vault reopens for 1982, out January 16th. Thank goodness David Sylvian is on here.

Vault is where he belongs, not main or extra. They could’ve kicked off with a Queen song

Because they coincidentally fell a week before Easter and you forgot to mention Now 87 matched its actual release date of 7th April

I love the 1982 UK charts but haven't heard many of those songs, wow from the vaults indeed.

Steve Winwood - Valerie obviously one of the best known of the tracks (a minor US hit and also later sampled by Eric Prydz) along with Asia's excellent Heat of The Moment (as it was a US hit).

Why was there two versions of Iko Iko, Belle Stars and Natasha. I prefer 'Sign of the Times' from the Belle Stars!

Blue Zoo are good but yeah the right song became the hit!

David Sylvian after being in the band Japan actually collabed with a Japanese artist, then, cool!

The Classix Nouveaux follow up was unlike their biggest hit in style and also was very Ultravox, maybe deemed too similar in style to that band to make top 40?!
