    Perhaps they’re scared to announce it because of your scathing iTunes reviews.

    It’s like you completely ignored everything I had to say. It’s wild that I was told this by someone in the music industry and you’re just like “no” who probably has no experience in the field whatsoev

Or will be included on the remaining 70s Yearbooks to come. Another waste of time and space.

Yeah i agree

Another pointless spin-off. If they had suddenly acquired the rights to a big disco artist such as Bee Gees, Jackson 5 or ABBA then sure, but this is just another rinse and repeat yet again.

I’ve made a list of songs that missed the released yearbooks

Jackson 5 - Dancing Machine

Jean Carn - Was That All It Was

Sylvester - Dance (Disco Heat)

Village People - Go West

Jackson 5 are on there with Dancing Machine and I think that’s the only song on there that hasn’t appeared on a released yearbook

Sure, one of their their most recognised hits that's heavily associated with the disco scene and had a high UK Chart peak... oh wait.

They might include it on either 1970-1974 or vault 1974

Strange never had a notification for today's NOW Yearbook 76 extra this week, still saying authorised.

UPDATE

NOW: YEARBOOK EXTRA 1976: 3CD
CD

Due to a delay in receiving the stock from our suppliers we have so far been unable to dispatch this in time for its original release date. Apologies for any disappointment that this may cause.

However, we have been assured that the stock is on its way and as soon as the shipment reaches our warehouse, we'll process and dispatch your order as soon as we can. You'll also receive a dispatch email to let you know when it's on its way.

I was going to buy off Amazon but delivery is ages away, not sure if Asda bothers racking up the Extras anymore.

If that's correct that only four songs on Disco haven't been on Yearbooks then I'll definitely give it a swerve, or just make my own playlist out of them. Would have been nicer to see some deeper cuts not covered elsewhere. 'Eras' are about more than just big hits.

Asda seem to have stopped stocking the extra yearbooks as mine doesn’t stock them anymore. Even Asda living by mine doesn’t stock them and also, these are the songs I counted that haven’t appeared on a released yearbook

Loleatta Holloway - Love Sensation

Village People - Go West

Sylvester - You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)

Sylvester - Dance (Disco Heat)

Bonnie Pointer - Heaven Must Have Sent You

Jean Carn - Was That All It Was

The Jackson 5 - Dancing Machine

I haven’t counted the 1975 songs as that hasn’t got a yearbook yet and I haven’t counted Elton John - Are You Ready For Love as that peaked in 2003 and is associated with 2003. If they do decide to do 00s yearbooks, then it will definitely be on 2003 or they could include it on one of the 1975-1979 yearbooks if they decide not to do 00s yearbooks

These are really good 'alternative' tracklists, makes you appreciate how much better the Now volumes could have been without half of the stuff going to Hits.

I’ve been listening to some old Nows recently and today I’ve gone for Now 54 and I’ve always wondered-why is the cover so bad? The white on it feels really out of place and I’m sure pre release there were better images going round with the purple standing out more?

Now 54 was quite a good album. I remember it being the first one where you could purchase ringtones for your phone with Now 72 being the last

Nothing wrong with the album, just wonder why the cover is bad. In between exquisite covers like Now 53 and Now 55 makes it so jarring.

I do agree that the Now 54 artwork is possibly one of the worst in the series, especially on the CD. It doesn't look as bad on the cassette version.

It was a year ago this week that Now 119 was announced so fingers crossed that Now 122 is announced on Thursday

Tate McRae – Tit For Tat {6}

BLACKPINK – JUMP {18}

gunna & Burna Boy – wgft {25}

Lola Young – d£aler {27}

Tyler The Creator – Sugar On My Tongue {27}

Morgan Wallen feat. Tate McRae – What I Want {30}

Calvin Harris & Jessie Reyez – Ocean {34}

Denon Reed & Cru2 – Let Him Go {36}

sombr – we never dated {37}

Florence + The Machine – Everybody Scream

Richard Ashcroft – Lovin' You

Biffy Clyro – Hunting Season

MK & Clementine Douglas – Come Find Me

Nathan Dawe & Shayan – Over You

Joel Corry & Aby Flynn – Phases

Louis Tomlinson – Lemonade

Blue – One Last Time

Gary Barlow & Becky Hill – Don't Look Down

Diana Vickers – Ice Cream

Overall no real surprises with those omissions, and not too many which we will look back on as major oversights, though it is intriguing we get two Lola Young songs and neither of them are d£aler which Elton John called the song "the biggest smash I’ve heard in years."

Not too much to suggest will be remembered by the time of the next release, so I guess it's fairly represented for what we have had released these last few months.

Away from the HUNTR/X and Taylor shaped holes, five #1s ('Man I Need', 'Survive', 'The Subway', 'DAISIES' and 'Dior') seems like a decent haul on one volume nowadays. It did feel like there was a more exciting turnover at the top for a little while, so good to see that reflected.

Elsewhere... happy to see Addison making another edition of course! 💖 although 'The Subway' does pip her this time as my favourite.

The tracklist is fine, but I cannot believe they omitted 12 To 12 as Sombr had two appearances in the previous edition. The y could have easily dropped that Bon Jovi song for it.

Also a pity that they did not sign "Golden" as this was the biggest hit accross the last three months. Fate Of Ophelia is very recent and I don't miss it here. The Tate McRae songs are always very late on the NOW's.
