That's a ridiculously late add for 'Leave Me Alone', why playlist it after the album has been released when it's been out for months?!

I'm obsessed with 'Leave Me Alone' at the moment, although I'm pleased I don't really expect much to come of it.

I assume the late add must be some kind of label decision, for some reason only sending it now as an official single.

Have Radio 1 ever playlisted Katseye, I thought Gabriella would be up their street?

Nope

Must be very rare for a song to only last one week on the A-list in normal circumstances (not counting around Big Weekend or songs dropped prematurely due to other reasons e.g covid).

They haven't supported Demi in many years, but really holding out hope that they eventually add Fast at least to the C List.

Maybe, but she's released at least two tracks since then so I'm tempted to think the label appointed it.

I wonder if they weren't aware of Ed Sheeran's new one at the time of the playlist meeting? Otherwise they would have added it presumably.

Possibly, though Dean did play it this morning

All good additions to the A List, I hope BLACKPINK can join them next week and a shame Max Dean couldn’t last another week, I think it was only A listed due to Locky playing Dance Weekend and Max & Luke joining him. Weird that Leave Me Alone has only now been pushed as a single but not mad about it.

It was released a month ago. I think that’s pretty standard, especially for a dance track.

Yeah, 'Avalanche' is probably the best thing I've heard from her for a while, I hope it gets on the main playlist.

To my knowledge ‘Sue me’ is quite old as well! I’m also unsure if ‘Let Him Go’ is Dean’s Tune of the Week as I don’t think he mentioned it was but I looked at the tracklist on BBC Sounds and it was the only song that seemed like it could be, we’ll see today if it is!
