Posted Tuesday at 12:042 days idk if we have a general thread for the Green Party but genuinely excited about Zackโs direction and hoping he will greatly reduce Reform margins x (since Your Party seems to be flopping with a transphobic MP ooooo)Earlier he won today by ijbol margins against โmoderatesโ
Tuesday at 12:452 days I recognise him! He went to my uni and also lived in Manchester! Trying to figure out if I actually knew him!would always welcome Greens getting more votes but Iโd rather split votes not be at the expense of a reform win
Tuesday at 13:122 days I don't know how they will compete against the new Corbyn party.Edit: Just read the opening post about the recent problem in 'Your Party'. Edited Tuesday at 13:132 days by TheSnake
Tuesday at 16:122 days Both Sultana and Corbyn have congratulated him and given the indication that they will work together so I hope that means electoral pact - they should be going after the same voters and it's one of the most obvious potential team-ups in British politics. In any case, very pleased that Polanski has won, the Greens absolutely need a leader like him who is willing to get out there, be brash and challenging, not this anemic co-leader anonymity they'd fallen into. Still suspect of Green Party viability as a solid electoral force but this is a good start so I won't knock it yet.
Tuesday at 20:162 days I remember him from the time he was in the Lib Dems. He spoke at a pre-conference rally and was a very impressive speaker. If he succeeds, the next election could be an even bigger mess with many constituencies being won on under 30% of the vote.
Tuesday at 20:592 days Author would be great to see "your party" and green party teaming up and targetting places where reform can win. maybe also teaming up with lib dems to keep their places plus pick a couple more from tories? that's assuming lib dems don't go socially conservative like the labour party sslfjkdghslfjkdg
