  • Think there is a big commercial offering in the bounce, but wonder if that may be 2026. Suspect he did not so songs for the project and it was well received, they just cooked another release.

Considering how stacked September is , seems random now be interesting to see how well it does

This feels like it's the Pop album that was teased for 2026. Interesting. With Swag we got some confirmation of features etc. but nothing this time from what I can read.

Interesting that this is coming so soon, I fear diminishing returns will have an impact in how this performs unless the material's more commercial.

Seen a rumour that The Kid LAROI is featuring on this album *.

I'm four tracks in and already it sounds considerably more commercial than SWAG. He should have released them the other way round IMO, the commercial one first and then the less commercial one as a companion record.

44 songs across both albums is a bit much though, does he think he's Taylor Swift?

It’s on Apple for me! It’s combined with the original SWAG album though (a 44 track album!)

Gonna give it a listen but haven’t actually fully heard the first version yet but I’ll space it out across the week. It’s probably wise that it’s charting as the original album and not a separate release presuming this is the case..!

It's more or less the same. Can't believe Bieber has been cooking up so much of these that feels personal to him and not blatantly commercial. bratcheeseblock

One major positive I can say though is there aren't any more of those skits with Druski.

I would actually say some skits would have benefited this album. It is such a mid-tempo snooze fest. Sorely missing a ‘STANDING ON BI’NESSSS’ moment or two to switch things up.

I like this album but I think it's overstuffed and could've done with some quality control. Truthfully I think SWAG and SWAG II combined would make an insane 15 track project, and probably a really strong 22-25 track project if needed, but there's too many songs across both. This one is better in the second half but has some nice moments later on (EVERYTHING HALLELUJAH is a lovely track, should've been the closer instead of that monologue 💀)

OK I finally got through (most of) the album and I take back what I said earlier about this part being more commercial - it's basically the same mostly dreary mess as the first part (which is now the second part lol). Completely agree with Joseph's comment above about lack of quality control, nobody needs to put out a 44 track album, it's so self-indulgent. Take the best 12-16 songs and you've got a much stronger piece of work.

I must admit, whilst this will be combined for UK chart purposes at least, I do see SWAG II as a separate (but linked) project to SWAG, it feels like a separate album and it's definitely less rooted in R&B than its predecessor. It's giving The Vamps - Night & Day having the Night Edition and Day Edition as basically separate albums.

In terms of most poppy to least, I'd say it goes My Worlds > Justice > Believe > Purpose >>>>>>>>> SWAG II >>>>> SWAG > Journals = Changes

I havent listened, I liked Justice but I heard Daises and Yukon and I was immediately turned off. Are any similiar to the vibe of that album?

Not really lol.

I hope the rumours about him having a more commercial album ready for 2026 are true. It'd be good to have pop Bieber back, it's what he does best!

Right? Hes gonna be so upset when the grammys put him in pop over r&b again

I do agree like Swag, Swag II has some really strong tracks and would have played well as a 15 strong album. I can't see them going with a single from this, maybe Love Song? That sounds the most commerical/radio friendly to me, but all in all I think it's more of a passion project he's put out.

Must say I absolutely love Speed Demon though.
