Taylor not even selling a single copy in week 2 what a flop

Sabrina should have a fairly decent second week. Obviously a big drop but she should clear 20k I’m guessing?

A few random facts! -

The highest second week sales figure is 14,615: Can't Rush Greatness by Central Cee.

Only 6 albums have managed 10,000+ sales in week 2, the other 5 being Sam Fender, Tate McRae, Lady Gaga, The Weeknd and PARTYNEXTDOOR/Drake.

The lowest first week sales needed to make the Top 10 is 5,414: Mixes of a Lost World by The Cure, reaching #9.

The lowest percentage fall from week 1 to week 2 is I Barely Know Her by sombr, with a -13.65% fall (10-11 in the chart, 7,362 to 6,357 sales). The next lowest is SWAG by Justin Bieber, with a -42.70% fall.

88 out of 91 albums dipped -50% or more in week 2. 60 out of 91 albums dipped -80% or more.

The worst percentage fall is -95.90%, achieved by The K's Pretty on the Internet seeing its sales decline from 25,032 to 1,027.

The lowest second week sales for a 2025 Top 10 album is 296 sales - Peter Doherty's Felt Better Alive. 19 albums sold less than a 1,000 copies in their second weeks on sale. 47 albums sold less than 2,000.

No albums managed to climb the chart in the second weeks. The best outcome is falling 1 place. Central Cee (1-2), PARTYNEXTDOOR/Drake (3-4) and sombr (10-11).

The biggest fall within the Top 200 is 5-191 (186 places): Constellations for the Lonely by Doves.

I understand the circumstances with taylor but has it ever happened before that an album has sold zero in its second week

Im sure Teenage Fanclub did back in the day with this album called The King.

It was released and deleted on the same day, so all sales happened in week 1, more specifically, on day 1.

Thats all I recall but cn't recall the year or the chart position.

but see if the occ counted album streams properly (excluding playlists like HH and things like This is The Weeknd)

all 2nd weeks would be better, especially for indie artists

take Wolf Alice's latest. It's 57 this week on the Album Streaming Chart

but I was following on the Apple Abum Streams based on proper streams without playlist and Wolf alice were #3 all week

half of the albums above them on the Streaming chart were not top 200...

Kind of interesting that the #1 had the harshest fall of them all. Also, that's the first #8 of the year to manage a second week in the Top 100.

Madness that the actual Madness was the only 1 to stay top 40 🙌🙌

Interesting that The Beatles came out second best, considering the high price and no new songs.
