Well considering wham did nearly 60k christmas number 1 week last year and Raye hasn't managed a week above 50k even with physicals yet she needs to increase a lot 😅

A really strong new album by a major act in its first week would have a great chance of getting the Christmas Top 3.

Otherwise, I’m pretty sure that nothing in the charts at the moment is going to be strong enough to exceed the 50K chart units that we might expect Last Christmas to secure?

She needs to be fully pushing the physicals on socials (Maybe an unboxing etc of the Xmas variants) the more pre-orders the better because it will make a huge difference if she's number 1 on first look it will get headlines / fan support more than her being at say 5.

Probably will be Wham! but hopefully it'll be more of a chart battle.

What did wham sell the week before the Xmas chart last year? The Xmas chart this year is the furthest it can be from Xmas day is it not? Is it the w/c 12th dec so the weekend before Xmas is the following weekend - could make a big difference and enable the likes of Kylie who is pushing physical products to snatch the no1!

For me about 50% of the time Kylie is played first. It's the only way I can listen to the track at the moment so when I feel like listening to it I just ask Alexa to play Christmas music and 50% of the time I get to hear Kylie. If she's not played first then I just switch off and try again another day
