Heat 5 was absolutely the best one we've had so far. I liked Sanna's song in studio form but it comes alive in its performance with a fantastic vocal, and Sanna's stage presence too. Glad it qualified!

Gutted for Vilhelm as I think his song sounded competitive, more so than last year, perhaps could've done better in another (less stacked) heat? The song's one of my biggest takers this year though I think. Really liked the JULIETT song too, super infectious chorus! AleXa is better in studio form, a little messy but still fun and the drop is excellent.

Was less fussed by Blade, worse than both her previous entries, if pleasant enough.

Delulu... totally see how it's caught on as it's fun and catchy as hell but I'd be more into it without the stupid forced voice. Justice for Copacabana Boy xx (I'm half serious about that)

Just caught up this morning as was out yesterday, ugh at the first direct qualifier, Swedish humour that I don't get I guess but agree that it's catchy. Also not fussed at the Robin song getting the last final slot.

Very happy for Sanna and Meira though. As always, Sanna sold the hell out of Waste Your Love like she does with everything <3 Meira's song is such an earworm.

Gah at Vilhelm going out, that's a great track, as was JULIETT. Too much competition here.

I didn't get anything from the Bladë track live unfortunately, and AleXa was better but that won't be a song I go back to much so not too upset that it's out.

It looks like a complete walkover for Felicia next week, Delulu I would assume won't get much love from the international juries (but will probably come 1st or 2nd on the public vote?). Felicia will probably top the jury and be 1st or 2nd on the public vote.

Attempting a full contest rank cause why not...

05 A*Teens - Iconic - it gives Steps post-comeback in the best possible way

08 Cimberly - Eternity

09 Jacqline - Woman - don't think we needed this in the final as well as Eternity so not too gutted it missed out but it's still a good track, just not on the level of Effortless

11 AleXa - Tongue Tied

12 Medina - Viva L'Amor

13 Eva Jumatate - Selfish - this is lovely and I wouldn't be shocked if she comes back with an even better song in the next couple of years

15 Arwin - Glitter - I found his entry last year much better but this is cute nonetheless

17 Patrik Jean - Dusk Till Dawn - there's a good song in here somewhere but I don't think it's quite realised

19 Brandsta City Släckers - Rakt in i elden - it's not totally my thing but it's catchy and I can see why it's popular

20 Junior Lerin - Copacabana Boy - my preference of the novelty entries, it's totally naff and most of my enjoyment is ironic but it is fun x

24 Indra - Beautiful Lie - a nice song, I only heard it during the contest and I still remember it, but I'd like it so much more with a different, more captivating vocalist

I've downloaded every song from 1-16, which is a couple more than I downloaded last year, not bad going!

Shame there's no CD this year, I've got every one they produced from 2002 to 2025 but apparently they are no longer producing them, so I too will have to go on a download spree. A digital compilation for £10 would have been nice instead of having to shell out near £30 for the complete set oops.

having heard Felicia for the first time tonight, that is some QUALITY EDM, to say nothing of her commanding the stage with that performance - that's going to have a long life in Eurovision circles

great winner even if I'd have been also happy with half of the rest of the final winning, but only really one winner there in the end

Yeah I had such a cheap Vienna option booked in March 2025 😭

Such a shame but absolutely stand by my decision and damn Felicia for making me now have to CARE!
