Tracey Thorn - It's All True

2007

Our second is celebrated vocalist Tracy Thorn who took a 25 year gap between her first and second solo single releases.

Jay-Jay Johanson - Déjà Vu

2002

Lastly, we have Swedish artist Jay-Jay Johanson, who is primarily a singer songwriter but released an album of classic synth-pop in 2002.

Voted Tracey but enjoyed both that and the first one.

I actually found the last one to be most interesting. The production was giving early New Order vibes and the soft vocals sounded similar to something I can't quite put my finger on. Second choice would be Tracey.

The vocals are very Nordic. Like Röyksopp.

I thought my favourite would be Lolita Zero when that production began but I enjoyed Tracey the most as a full package!

I will remember to give these a listen!
