Does anyone know whether an act has dropped form the top of both charts and then climbed back to the top with the same single and album before? I suspect not, but I don't want to say that it is unprecedented and then be proved wrong.

  • That probably contributed to 3 sales and the newly released liquid vinyl for the rest. Surely the OCC should/would know of a new variant counting towards the charts 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'd guarantee Golden and The Fate of Ophelia would be ahead of WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! with only one version anyway.

  • It makes me wonder if OCC aren't keen on explaining that a climb in the chart is simply because of a new variant, and thus they want to dress it up with "topical news" to make it seem more interesting

Adele with Someone Like You and 21?

I’m assuming you mean on the same week?

If not Divide and Shape of You both dropped from number 1 before returning

Yes, in the same week.

Good

Anything but Taylor Swift and besides, Golden is close to overtaking Ordinary with the most total weeks at number 1. Shame Ophelia didn’t have a Fortnight style chart run

Thanks for the suggestion. The single dropped for one week, but the album stayed at number one.

the dream is still alive for berghain to go top 40!

so long as the occ don’t decide to start resetting christmas songs

Fingers crossed it will stay top 40 now.
