Some options I’m considering for next contest

I was always thinking of repeating Valencia but clearly going pop is a risk in BJSC

You're not allowed to send the same artist to two contests in a row so you'd have to wait a bit to send Valencia again.

(the Jacob Alon song is great, discovered it from the Mercury Prize ceremony the other week x)

100% Francesca then send Valencia the month after - pop is only a risk if it's the wrong song (or a male vocalist 😅) but Francesca has the foreign language appeal as well and Valencia is a bop so should be pretty safe imo

Possibly bad news for Herbilore but Jacob Alon has been picked up by Radio 1 today, but not the same track it appears.

Oh does that make it ineligible?! I should have sent it this month! Might have done alright with the semi i was in!

Not necessarily, but it might increase its veto points.

A different song of his being playlisted wouldn’t make this one a ban.

Maybe, but I’d rather have that than a 33% qualification rate (which frankly is shocking)

That Jacob song is gorgeous. It would be a risk to enter it. BJSC doesn't always reward quality.

I recently came close to winning PJSC with Valencia's Super Elastic. Love her! Too bad she's ineligible for you next round.
