Enjoying the album. LOVESONGS is absolutely sublime Also who is the "Simon" she sings about in Sign It?

They add to the vision, at least they're not tacked to the front/end of the full songs so you can easily skip them if you don't want to listen!

She does always have too many interludes and not enough songs (especially new songs as we had 4 before release) but this is a GREAT album. Better than Magic Still Exists for me aswell.

I’ve already loved all four singles but the remaining new songs didn’t feel like filler at all. Especially Lovesongs which feels like something new for her, because at this point, she feels like she has a nailed on formula and she doesn’t stray toooo far from it. But it’s like an updated You’ve Got The Love and it’s GORGEOUS.

Can’t wait to see her on Wednesday FINALLY.

LOVESONGS and UTERUS & UNIVERSE are my two new main takeaways from the album, which is indeed absolutely excellent despite the many interludes.

I can't see it being released on CD sadly because Magic Still Exists never was. I actually have that on vinyl and I think it's worth a pretty penny these days. Not sure I can afford to import the new album from Bengans right now though (£60 including postage to the UK gah).

She's come on leaps and bounds as an artist and performer, the first time I saw her live was as part of the Melodifestivalen final in 2009 where she competed with Love Love Love. It was such a strong final that she didn't even get a look in in the results, and it was a great disco song too (but not even in my top five favourites from the final). I still adore Dance Love Pop and Veritas though, even with how great these two recent albums have been. One of Sweden's very best artists.

It's available on imusic for about 30 quid including the postage (I should have it today or tomorrow!)

Still haven't had the chance to listen though

Thanks for the tip! Ordered.

It will take a while to come but that’s fine, I didn’t realise it was available without stupid postage costs anywhere!

I posted my tickets for resell, but I don’t think they’ll be selling.

And apparently tickets aren’t transferable which is ridiculous, because I was thinking to just gift them to someone here who would like to go see her!!! And I have two tickets!!!

Oh no! I hope you’re safe though.

My minor doubt about the postage being too good to be true is no more! The vinyl was actually packaged very well: I'm surprised it's a gatefold too, I was expecting a standard sleeve for its price point!

Listened to the album this morning, it's brilliant! I loved all the singles, and I really enjoyed the new tracks too!

Gutted for you. 😔

I almost bought tickets the other day but it'll be a long day (I've been quite exhausted lately) and it's too short notice to get the day off work for. Like you, I've never seen her before (and always thought I'd need to travel to Sweden or something to get the chance)!

I don’t know what will be the entrance protocols at the venue, but it’s literally 2 x tickets with barcodes only, so I don’t understand why I can’t just give to someone and have them go instead. Will they ask for ID’s to match the name who purchased tickets?

Well people buy tickets as a gift so a name on a ticket won't always match whose going anyway so should be fine.

That’s what I was thinking. I don’t know why it says they’re not transferable!!!

If anyone really wants to go, please PM me and I will send you the tickets via email!!!

Well…Agnes was flawless and amazing of course. But she sang like 10 songs 😭

Release Me was so good live and so was everything from the Magic Still Exists album.

Loved Ego, Trigger and Balenciaga Covered Eyes from the new album live too but some very glaring omissions for me - Wake Up, Lovesongs (which would have been a moment in that venue), Uterus and Universe, I Trance and Limelight (I believe these two were played in Stockholm the other day too).

50 minutes is short imo, but still, it was 50 minutes in the presence of perfection. And the interludes make more sense live. But she’s still an incredible performer, one of Sweden’s best and too underrated commercially.

I'm actually pretty glad I didn't travel for a 50 minute set in the end, that would have really annoyed me when I've been feeling pretty run down as it is atm! Glad you had a great time though!

Very jealous you got to hear 'Release Me' live though. I keep telling people it's one of the best songs of all time, annoyingly few people I know irl agree though! At least I haven't found anyone that dislikes it yet...

I’m very lucky that I’ve seen her do Release Me live before because in 2013 I went to the Eurovision final where she performed it as an interval act.

But she’s a much more accomplished and impressive artist these days. Such a great performer.

I was actually unsure I would even get there tonight as I was working late and didn’t even get there until after 9, but then she didn’t come on until 9.30 😂

Meanwhile I booked The Cardigans today who are coming to London in June and they have a 9pm curfew! Different needs for different Swedes.

So great to hear you had a wonderful time Rich!

50mins does sound a little on the short side though.

On the plus side Release Me live would've been amazing!
