The British star is set to lock horns with Taylor Swift for Number 1 in this week's Official Chart First Look. Having spent a large amount of time in third, RAYE’s popular tune WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! could possibly see movement, currently up one position into Number 2. Has the time ultimately come for her to claim the throne and a second top single triumph after Escapism. in 2022? But she will have to KO Taylor’s The Fate of Ophelia, which claimed its fifth week at the summit on Friday (1). Olivia Dean and So Easy (To Fall In Love) is also on course to move up one this week (3), which would mark the tracks best performing position yet. With the deluxe version of her album So Close To What dropping, Tate McRae could earn the highest new entry this week with NOBODY’S GIRL (8). The Canadian also finds two other tracks in TIT FOR TAT (12) and ANYTHING BUT LOVE (20) potentially sealing a Top 20 finish. As the Christmas season draws ever closer, multiple festive hits could step into the Top 40. The list sees Wham! and Last Christmas on course to break the Top 10 (10), while another possible Top 20 inclusion consists of Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You (15). Moreover, other potential holiday entries include Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree from Brenda Lee (25), Kelly Clarkson’s Underneath The Tree (29), The Pogues featuring Kirsty MacColl on the classic Fairytale of New York (31), Santa Tell Me from Wicked star Ariana Grande (32), a new entry from Kylie Minogue with her Amazon Music Original track XMAS (33), Jingle Bell Rock courtesy of Bobby Helms (35) and finally, Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin’ Stevens (36). As Wicked: For Good hit cinema screens last week, three songs from the film's soundtrack may possibly sneak into the Top 40 standings. Firstly, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande team up on For Good (17), while Erivo’s solo track No Good Deed (23), and her collab with Jonathan Bailey on As Long As You’re Mine (37) could all perform well. Elsewhere, South Korean sensations Stray Kids may bag their best performing UK Charts single to date with DO IT (22), following the release of their EP last Friday. Rounding off this week’s First Look is Sonny Fodera, whose track Think About Us featuring D.O.D and Poppy Baskcomb continues to be shown love, as it’s set to jump six places (24).

As they’ve achieved their only No 1 studio album since then (Theatre of Absurd - C’est La Vie, I’d be interested in seeing how its sales have progressed.
