The final race of this year will see the first 3+ way driver's fight for 15 years. The standings are currently:

Norris - 408

Verstappen - 396

Piastri - 392

Norris simply needs to finish on the podium to win the title regardless of where the other 2 finish. Max & Oscar realistically both need a win and Lando to encounter some trouble. SO who takes it?

I just have this feeling Max will do it. Think he wins the race and Lando finishes outside the top 3 someway or somehow.

The scenario I would LOVE to see manifest is Max in P1, George/Kimi/someone else P2, Oscar P3 and Lando P4. Do McLaren instruct Oscar to pull over and hand Lando the title...

You know McLaren will, which will be such a cheesy way to win the title.

at least Lando doesn't get a last-grid penalty this weekend for 'deliberately colliding with other driver', so it will be silly if he loses his championship title in a way his childhood hero did a decade ago.

Going for Max Verstappen, hoping that somehow Sky Sports will show the last race with their commentary live on Channel 4.

Norris needs to be really unlucky, really stupid or really off form to screw it up.

He has all the hallmarks to file him alongside Hawthorn, Phil Hill, Surtees, Hulme, Keke Rosberg, Damon Hill, Villeneuve, and Button. An above average driver, somewhere in the top six on the grid, who found himself in the best car, drove decently enough and had a season where it all came together to give him a single title.

Whoever wins the title, Verstappen, like Schumacher did in 1996, will win many admirers.

I've gone for Lando Norris as I think he will win the race tomorrow.
