We don't know if she's straight, she said she doesn't want to share or be forced to share if she is or not.

But we do know it was adapted by a gay man so the show is made by a queer person ultimately

Finished this last night and loved it! I think given the setting I was expecting there to be a bit more sociological commentary - the need for Shane and Ilya's relationship to be secret was really jus

  • Sky have acquired the show. Coming 10th of January. So stoked.

  • I CANNOT get the end of episode 4 out of my head. I made the mistake of listening to All the things she said and it made it like fifty times worse That club scene was perfect. The song detailing exac

My boyfriend and I finally decided to check this out and absolutely hated episode 1. Not because it’s necessarily bad but because it doesn’t go anywhere. It’s barely anything more than a soft core porn drama with cliché writing and bland characters. Maybe I’ve watched too many shows in my lifetime so my standards are high but this is sooo vanilla and is clearly made by someone who has very little to do with gay/queer culture.

Straight women can have it though, I can’t be too mad. The casting is great and most of the Russian language I heard seems to be from native speakers (apart from the main character but it’s okay). I just wish that at some point we get a mainstream gay character who is more than a white cis (muscular) body with a somewhat tragic love story. For what it’s worth this has been thoroughly explored by European indie cinema in the last 20 years.

Soundtrack is coming 10th July on vinyl and CD.

Looks like it's been delayed for a week, even two, unless the ones that they were supposed to arrive to Urban Outfitters had a conflict. I just received a backorder notification from them with these details. However, I've just seen other retailers information (even Milan Records, the distributor) and the release date still stands to July 10, so I guess it's only UO for now.

Actually, it's the latter. 🤦🏽‍♂️

They haven't been delayed as I previously mentioned, but the ones Urban Outfitters are supposed to sell are, hence the reason why I received that backorder notification from them some days ago.

Just to give an update here: The vinyl I bought from Urban Outfitters was shipped yesterday (July 16), although the label was created on July 15, so it makes me think that they want to maximise the sales during the first week, so they somehow sent those vinyl to the retailers experiencing the issues, lol. 😆

The soundtrack debuts at #9 in the US. The full article, which you could read it here, was posted on Billboard.

The soundtrack to the hit TV series Heated Rivalry debuts at No. 9 following the release of its CD and vinyl editions on July 9. It debuts with 41,000 equivalent album units earned (all in album sales; it debuts at No. 2 on Top Album Sales).

Heated Rivalry marks the first soundtrack from a TV series to debut in the Billboard 200 top 10 in more than a decade. The last was the season-one soundtrack to Fox's Empire in 2015, which debuted at No. 1. Since Empire, the only other TV series soundtrack to reach the top 10 was the season-two soundtrack of Prime Video's animated hit Hazbin Hotel, which peaked at No. 8, after debuting at No. 70 a week earlier, in 2025.

Nominated for a NTA in New Drama!!!

And its competition doesn't look like much so this should win.

I have voted for it but I wouldn’t be surprised if I Fought The Law (or Believe Me) won - they were both very good ITV dramas based on shocking real life stories!

I just never heard of either but then again I don't really watch British TV.

Collector's edition Blu-ray release with steamy posters, collectible art cards and special features available for pre-order now.

FYI, the Variety article below says that it won't ship until April of next year, but the Amazon link says that it will be available on November 24, which is the release date for the Collector's edition. The Blu-ray and DVD release will be out on October 20. That said, this is the Canadian and US release, so I expect the international one to be announced soon.
