I think it's totally fair that Radio 1 are focusing on playing the songs that were actual 2025 hits - everything skipped so far has been an old song (and a handful of oldies have been played too to fill out the time).

“All The Stars” is fabulous but a bit of a shame that it’a overshadowing their more recent collaborations.

Sabrina Carpenter has made the transition from teen-TV star to pop-dominating force look remarkably easy. It helps that the actor and singer-songwriter—born in 1999 in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania—pursued both sides of her career in tandem, releasing music while establishing a regular presence on the Disney Channel and through other acting gigs, including on Broadway. Yes, I said a handful of oldies too as playing only the 2025 hits probably wouldn't fill the slot! Oasis have at least been topical in 2025 so it does make sense (and this is without putting opinions in the mix as I'm no Oasis fan)
