(Sorry if this overwhelms you all)Because they probably need a rest, and there isn't room on the line-up for every single artist to perform - the event lasts roughly 7 hours, including the hosts addressing the audience, they can't have an infinite number of performers.re the budget range, I don't know specifics but obviously they'll have a certain amount of money they're willing to spend on the event, and big name performers like Taylor Swift may well be outside that range most of the time (whereas someone like Myles Smith is probably cheaper, especially given he wouldn't have to fly in)
May 5May 5 I mean that’s true for Bieber due to Coachella and Taylor due to Eras tourI know they can only have 15 names - why is Global making some obscure but interesting choices all the time (given tours later in year, festival schedule, 1 or 2 top 40 artists) instead of relating it to the top 40. I get some of it relates to the playlist in the last 6 months but I didn’t think that the likes of XG and MEEK would do it despite being removed from playlist. Same reason for people who I didn’t think would be announced without new music prior to the lineup announcement as well as people who are removed from playlist before the ball despite being confirmed. Perhaps Arthur Hill can be considered as an alternative BUZZ artist in case someone pulls out. Edited May 5May 5 by Sami Hook Jama
