was correct on this one, should be worth noting ‘Too Sweet’ has returned to heart’s recurrent playlist now

adding onto this. Lots of the 2023/2024 playlisted songs are now returning as regular recurrent songs. as mentioned ‘Too Sweet’ but now ‘Stargazing’, ‘Cruel Summer’, ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ and ik it’s from 2025 but ‘Azizam’ too.

yea after listening to the song it feels too risky for heart now… ;-;. I feel like they anticipated a new add for him tho and might be scrambling to fill in the gap… aka ‘Gabriela’? ‘12 to 12’? ‘Daisies’? ‘Gone Gone Gone’?

Tbh i could see them playlist it for a short while, like they did for Taylor’s fortnight. That was not the most commercial or “heart fitting” song (though I do absolutely love it) so they playlisted it instantly in April for a few months and by August it wasn’t being played anymore. I’d imagine they may do the same thing?

the difference with ‘Fortnight’ was that it could fit on the playlist to an extent. As fortnight does fit the feel good vibe tbf. Can’t guarantee with aperture. However they played it today on fm so it’s on

they talked over the intro a lot. Rayo has an edited version tbf so i wouldn’t be shocked if global gets it soon. shocking they (and the bbc) haven’t edited it themselves anyway!

Bit of a random question, but whilst we’re discussing edits, does anyone know when Heart started playing the full version of Rhythm Is a Dancer with Turbo B’s rap? I’m pretty sure it was always cut out until fairly recently.

It’s within the last 14 days for sure, it never used to be played

i think the easy way around occasional heart listeners would just be making riveria radio available on DAB, as your getting more but it doesn’t deviate far from the source at all… or easier route make heart’s playlist 20 songs minimum (every song on riveria works except Tears)

I think Espresso/Please Please Please would be a better choice
