another off topic one but also not? i found heart pride on online radio box and it’s trackable. It’s just labelled as it once was, global pride.

but yea the playlist i gathered is kinda what it once was, but some songs are removed if they lack in plays.

Dua saw a few songs added into the older song rotation + Apple by Charli & Taste by Sabrina are both in too. This really symbolises their forgiveness of dua now… weird there’s no Harry, no sign of MEEK or Katseye, not even RAYE? The lack of edm hits like ‘Gone Gone Gone’, ‘Blessings’ and ‘No Broke Boys’ or Tate McRae or Bruno Mars too is astonishing. Not even ‘The Dead Dance’ or ‘Man I Need’ (as blacklisted artists are present on the playlist)

It was sounding fresh today with some older gems they don’t often play, I heard smile by Lily Allen and have a nice day by stereophonics!

i saw lily allen and freaked out for a split second thinking they added madeline 😭

but no you are right. they’ve really been refreshing the playlist over the last couple weeks and it’s brilliant to see so many missed faces back on.

Also just noticed ‘Gone Gone Gone’ has returned to the My Heart feature on Global Player? not that it indicates the playlist at all cos ‘Aperture’ is still on it too. But it’s weird cos it was… gone gone gone… for a bit

They do that for the “insert radio station” feature where the song is not played anymore but they forget to remove the song from the feature, like for First Original Thought and Señorita (which is long gone probs till summer) on Capital

Club Song hasn’t been played again since this morning, so it may have just been a one-off. In terms of the next add, I’m expecting Fever Dream to join the playlist soon.

They're going to premiere it given Ashley has been a Heart presenter for yonks. They might stick it on but then they never support Olly Murs'new stuff and he's a presenter too

Capital have also added it unlike Olly’s new stuff so maybe it has officially been added.

no it was gone for a couple weeks and randomly just returned

Been listening to Heart Dance lately and would you class music from this decade “club classics”? I’ve heard D.O.D - Still Sleepless, LF SYSTEM - Afraid To Feel, Fred again.. - Billie (loving arms) and Fatboy Slim & The Rolling Stones - Satisfaction Skank (released December last year!). They’re all good tunes but not sure it really reflects the stations

Don’t see why they can’t be added. They’re at least 3 years old (with the exception to Fatboy Slim though it’s a mashup of 2 oldies anyway) so are not exactly current.

If anything Heart Dance's playlist had been stale for a while so I welcome newer additions even if they're fresher than expected

They should add Somedays, Stay The Night (Sigala), REACT (Switch Disco) and Alibi too

I also saw All 4 Love and Set My Heart On Fire on the playlist too
