January 28Jan 28 The stars really couldn't have aligned more perfectly for Novak this tournament could they! At least in reaching the Semis but don't see how he beats Sinner unforch (of course Sinner himself benefitting from an identical scenario in Wimbledon last year).Annoyed that Pegula beat Anisimova, the latter was my tip for a shock win after reaching the last 2 Open finals.
January 28Jan 28 Novax's draws at slams for the past year have just been a joke. Walkovers, retirements, lowly ranked players. Ugh.And I know some people are a bit fed up of Sincaraz finals but Zverev and Novax are my absolute least faves and I am excited by the tennis they produce when they play against each other so I will be rooting for both of them to win through.
January 30Jan 30 NOVAK!!! Why did I ever doubt this guy, absolute monster. He has never lost an AO final. Alcaraz has never played in one. He can do this.
January 30Jan 30 Author An semi-final classics there. An quote that legendary sports commentator David Coleman said once about Michael Johnson:this man is simply not humanI would say that about Djokovic absolutely remarkable.
