I know it’s very early days, but it’s weird that the biggest song of the year so far hasn’t yet spent a week in the top five in 2026! One of the vagaries of ACR I suppose. I remember it was considere

Go hanging on for another week! Glad to see Nice To Meet You doing worse than I expected

This will be the most down-to-the-wire EOY #1 since... well, 2018 possibly, although I expect if we'd had as accurate estimates throughout the year then, we may have known at this stage that 'One Kiss' would overtake 'God's Plan'. The Killers to finish top 20 after knocking Bruno out?

Evil has been defeated (even if Drake isn’t much better).

Sweater Weather isn’t in currently right? Wonder if it could make a reappearance

We have 6 songs in the top 100 doing less than 5k per week. The first two will obviously be very safely in the final chart but will miss the top 40. The other 4 are likely to drop out entirely.

Aperture

Just The Way You Are

I Run

Soda Pop

Think About Us

(When You Gonna) Give It Up To Me

Also struggling in the lower regions and could miss, though still doing 6k per week or so:

Dirty Diana

Birds Of A Feather

Human Nature

The Days

Go

“Janice STFU” may not hold either.

I’m surprised by Soda Pop not doing well.

If your predictions are correct - how many Michael Jackson songs will make the year end chart, and how many Fleetwood Mac songs will make it?

I’m also wondering which artists will have more songs in the year and chart than Fleetwood Mac? Olivia Dean I imagine. Anyone else?

Currently:

5 Michael Jackson

4 Sombr

4 Alex Warren

4 Fleetwood Mac

3 Taylor Swift

3 Olivia Rodrigo

Sienna Spiro will end up with 3

Michael could drop to 3

Human Nature might hold with the slight seasonal boost for Thriller's parent album streaming? would be surprised if BOAF missed given it's still doing 573k/week on Spotify, guess it must've falled HARD elsewhere

How many did Ed have in 2017?

Ed had 11 tracks in the 2017 year-end top 100 (including four of the top six!)

Didn't realise 'Carry You Home' and 'Eternity' were still here!

Isn't that basically down to the title track overtaking 'Billie Jean' and 'Beat It', passing the third highest streams to the latter for a while?

I moreso meant that the album as a whole gets more streams since people streaming Thriller might play the whole album/the other singles afterwards

This is surely the week we lose Go, and unfortunately we will get Movin' To The Sun instead...

Movin' To The SUNO on the YTD sad

can't believe I'm sad about Janice STFU getting knocked off when I don't even think it's one of the worse songs Drake dropped this year!

(seriously, if we had to give Dr*ke hits couldn't it have been 2 Hard 4 The Radio or Road Trips instead of this miserable dirge that sounds like What's Next got left in the microwave too long?)

Thinking Janice could be back at the expense of Sean Paul next week, with “Go” surviving 1 last time.

oh get in. will always take drake L’s even if its MTTS.

Did we expect that JTWYA jump over Manchild?

No there’s obviously something strange going on. Maybe JTWYA’s sales weren’t updated properly for a couple of weeks and then were all added at once or something, as it hadn’t made sense how fast it was falling.
