The first edition of the race, which is officially billed as 'Formula 1 African Grand Prix, presented by Visit Rwanda', could be held as early as 2030, depending on when construction of the track is completed.

The circuit is only Grade 2 but I believe FIA approved some planned upgrades what would push it into Grade 1 last year-ish... Not sure what happened with those plans though!
