Each week, 8 new releases are selected to go head to head, with one weekly winner which will then go up against future weekly winners later in the year at the end of each quarter of the year, and then again at the end of the year to determine the ultimate winner of 2026.

The 2025 final poll is also currently running - see the appropriate pinned thread.

==========================================

Each week, choose one song only that you feel is your favourite from the selection of releases that week. If you wish to post a rate of the selection of songs in the thread, please feel free to do so.

Here are this week's contenders (plus two songs that came out in last week's incredibly dry schedule):

Results of this week's poll will be revealed in next week's thread. The poll will remain open until the following Friday.

Lol these are far more last minute than I intended as I started listening to the songs around 7pm but then fell asleep for a few hours partway through cheeseblock but woke up just in time to finish it off and deliver votes before the poll closes (I fear polls now being able to close at a predetermined time will be a bane of my existence).

In any case, the top 2 were comfortably better than the rest here, 3-5 were fairly good, 6-7 were ok, Alan Walker needs to stop releasing music. x

(oh my I broke a tie x)
