Each week, 8 new releases are selected to go head to head, with one weekly winner which will then go up against future weekly winners later in the year at the end of each quarter of the year, and then again at the end of the year to determine the ultimate winner of 2026.

The 2025 final poll is also currently running - see the appropriate pinned thread.

  • Alan Walker x Isabella Melkmann x Katherine O'Ryan - Broken Strings 2

  • Armin van Buuren x Glockenbach - Sun Shines On Me 0

  • DJ Seinfeld - Plush 6

  • Drumsound & Bassline Smith - Shine a Light 0

  • Gorgon City x Interplanetary Criminal - Contact 0

  • Kungs x Theophilus London - Galaxy 5

  • Le Youth x Orem - Blinded 0

  • Robin Schulz - Embers 2

It is congrats to DJ Seinfeld who claims the first winner of 2026, just edging ahead of a strong comeback for Kungs who was looking to win in the midweek update. Alan Walker is the honorary 'week 1' winner, beating the only other notable week 1 release from Armin van Buuren.

Each week, choose one song only that you feel is your favourite from the selection of releases that week. If you wish to post a rate of the selection of songs in the thread, please feel free to do so.

Here are this week's contenders

Results of this week's poll will be revealed in next week's thread. The poll will remain open until the following Friday.

Really like the Danny L Harle track but Alan Walker narrowly edged it for me this week. Speaking of which, is there a more prolific artist than Alan Walker?! He released two albums last year and also at least 10 singles (none of which were on either album!) I defy anyone to find me anyone who releases more!

Alan Walker becoming AI slop confirmed? x

(Serious answer: check the discography of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard)

I don't really get this whole ghost producers thing, have these DJs really lost so much of their passion that they're happy to let someone else do the work?

My personal rankings for Week 3;

  1. Wilfy D x Katy B – Dreamstate

  2. Groove Armada – Do It Right

  3. Claptone x Hannah Boleyn – Black & Gold

  4. Josh Baker x Silva Bumpa x Paige Cavell – Feel This Way

  5. Fcukers – L.U.C.K.Y

  6. Matt Sassari x Jack Back x Amira Eldine – Crazy

  7. Danny L Harle x Julia Michaels – Raft In The Sea

  8. Alan Walker x Alessia Labate – Not Home

1 Danny L Harle

2 Groove Armada

3 Fcukers

4 Claptone

5 Matt Sassari

6 Josh Baker

7 Wilfy D

8 Alan Walker

Julia Michaels did not seem nearly as exciting a feature as those on the other Danny singles so far but the song I think is possibly on par with the first couple of singles, another very good one from him <3 Groove Armada coming through with a solid chill tune as well and the Fcukers song is not quite as interesting as 'Bon Bon' and 'I Like It Like That' but still can see it being a bit of an earworm. Next 3 songs are decent if a bit generic, Wilfy D song was meh, Alan Walker needs to stop making music. x
