(also she's not the youngest, that was Stevie Wonder - but in any case apparently no one is even eligible to be inducted into it until 20 years after their first release so being the youngest inductee isn't really as much of a flex as it sounds, it just means they started young)

Ok but that's not what the discussion was about, I am mentioning it in contrast to Harry releasing something experimental because he can afford to as a big artist, Taylor not so much x

Taylor has proven she can though she went from country to pop to folk back to pop and the public eaten it up

She probably could get away with dance , rap could be interesting she has dabbled in rock a little bit

Again I'm not bothered about 'the public eating it up', that had nothing to do with my post x

Fair point about her taking more of a risk with folklore/evermore (and I loved those albums!) but that's obviously not the space she's in right now.

But it does though if the public doesn't eat it up its not a successful risk

And the space shes in now is being happy and people say her music is shit because shes singing about finally being happy 🤣🤣

Who is saying anything about 'successful risks'? The sole point of my post was comparing her current material being safe pop vs. Harry's being a more experimental song. I am down to keep replying to see how many more tangents you want to read into it though x

She can sing about being happy, she has some great love songs but the writing on the recent album was certainly a choice. The previous album was bordering on cringe, this one went full tilt cringe

The whole TTPD era was a risk 🤷🤣

If we are being pedantic Harry's house safe and commercial was released in 2022, in that time she has released 3 brand new albums and 2 rerecords (you could argue the rerecords are risks in themselves shes the only one thats done it very successfully) Midnights, TTPD and TLOAS, Midnights a concept album, TTPD a huge risky album and TLOAS the "safe" album

And if you read my post, I am only talking about their current releases x

No where in your post does it say current album it could literally be referring to any of her albums , plus nearly every album post 1989 the critics pan initially before doing u turns even Taylor herself is aware of this ,

Also im hoping the rest of the new harry album clicks because I actually do like a lot of his discography
