At the time pre the confirmation of spinning around d there was rumours that your disco needs you was the title of her comeback single.

Hard to believe its a quarter of a century but i still love it 25 years on,

I think it was the right decision for it not to be the lead single over spinning around as at the time the song was more niche where spinning around probably had a broader appeal. i think im correct when i say its her biggest selling album track and also on higher sales than some of her official singles.

Love this but not sure it’s aged well although it’s always been a favourite and I really believe it was robbed of being a hit.

It’s laughable that Parlophone didn’t want to release it as it was too camp/geared towards a gay audience which is exactly why it should have been released.

Glad Kylie still shows it some love, she knows it should have been a big single (along with ‘The One’).

I haven't seen any mention of it ever being considered for a lead single before, is that really so?

I'd be interested to see how it would have done in place of 'Please Stay', although I think it's safe to say this is much more well-known these days anyway (probably more than several of her actual top 10 hits in that decade), and a lot of the casual audience would probably assume it was a single anyway.

I absolutely hated this 25-26 years ago. My sister had the Light Years album and she'd play this song non stop, it drove me up the wall.

Now though? I actually quite like it, it's really grown on me.

I always understand why people would not like the song as its just one of those type of songs that you love or hate.

It was never my favourite song on the album but I always really liked but it had tough competition on the album as its full of great songs,

It goes down so well at concerts and Kylie always performs it very well.
