Okay this was brilliant. George and Jack were absolutely hilarious, looking forward to more from them. Great start, hoping the momentum will last.

I was sceptical about this and I don't know why. Maybe the media narrative played it in to me, but this has been fantastic. Like all sketch shows, some sketches are great, others miss the mark or have different appeals.

It's quite refreshing to see they used largely unknowns in the cast. I also really enjoyed the UK cameos that started to creep through too, I hope more of that comes through in Season 2. I imagine if they get some big-ish well know cultural icon then it'll do well in the live ratings and on social media too. I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality of guests and musical acts they've attracted so far.

Excited to see what they have cooked up for Season 2. I think Fouracres really is the star though - think he could have a pretty sizeable career off the back of this if he wanted be it in acting, presenting or stand-up. But all the cast are great really and it's clear they're having a lot of fun doing it.

The opening sketch this week was brilliant. They have really captured the political satire and it's great that the actual government are giving them so much material! Great to see Paddy beyond the Weekend Update segment.

The Louis Theroux sketch was great too. Larry had really nailed his impression

The Louis Theroux, The Thomas tank engine, the blobby sketch and that last sketch "she's tulisa bossing" will forever stay in my mind" Great ending of the series!

I liked the opening, the newsroom, the shrek/James bond sketch whatever that one was but all the rest fell flat. Musical guest was of course great though the mic felt very low volume, I had to turn my TV way up

Just caught up on the rest of the series and I have to say, the last four episodes were all much stronger than the first half overall. Guess they just needed to find their groove and get into the swing of things, so here's hoping series 2 is even better! So many memorable sketches. Jack, Ania and Paddy are definitely my favourites. I don't really get the massive hype for George despite how good his Starmer impression may be kink

Was wonderful to see Ncuti too wub and despite how great some of the sketches were (the racism one in particular!) he was really under-used.

Because I can't resist a ranking (based on the episodes overall, not just the hosts) ~

  1. Nicola Coughlan

  2. Jamie Dornan

  3. Aimee Lou Wood

  4. Ncuti Gatwa

  5. Hannah Waddingham

  6. Tina Fey

  7. Riz Ahmed

  8. Jack Whitehall
