Overall though I think this is very strong! Not a bad song on here by any means. This is one of those albums where I feel some of her past albums have higher highs but as a whole piece I think this will rank top half of her discography for me!

I think from Sweetener onwards she’s really become her own kind of artist. positions wasn’t as much to my taste as the songs were very short!! but the other albums are so strong and full of intricate lyrics and a deep meaning!

So the rise of it actually came from the news about Ariana, made the album so much sadder. Its changed the way I look at the songs now

Number 1 in Australia and charts all 12 tracks in the top 50, highest at 2

6th Australian number one album (Yours Truly and positions her only non number ones). *out of curiosity anyone know what beat positions iirc I think she released the same week as Sam Smith as I initially thought Sam would get the albums number one luckily she managed to get it!

UK chart to come in around 4.5 hours time ❣️

1 in New Zealand, her 6th there too. 3rd most of any female artist.

They have a hot chart and she is the only artist to have 21 number 1 hits on there.

Debuts at #1, and becomes Ari's 6th #1 album.

and ‘kiss me’ has just been announced as one of her three charting songs this week at #15!

(boo hiss at the radio edit cutting down the wonderful intro though)

Topping album charts in 8 countries so far-UK, Australia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Norway & Netherlands.

2 in Sweden, Lithuania, Finland.

Then 49 in Japan. Bit of a drop there

I’m glad kiss me made it in this week as it is my favourite of the two. I was hoping bad thing bunny hop would be doing better but like I do is quite interesting (and very Jem They esque).

No idea why bad thing is not performing well, it's such a bop
