  • The specification of "2001 Recording" The sender really said "no Kerry here please" x

  • Bit random but I’ve only just realised they are standing in front of blinds in that album cover! Was the photoshoot in the office?

  • Voted 😊 If anything, I’m just ready and patiently waiting for the round when Atomic Kitten inevitably finish top of the leaderboard with Southgate You’re The One

That’s why I thought I’d comment about it. I thought some may miss it. 🙂

I always thought it was the Jenny version.

Wouldn’t the earlier version be the Kerry version?

2004 version is Jenny’s, I think 😂

Ooh Wednesday good job someone mentioned that 😂

1999 - Original production, with Kerry's vocals - released as a single and included on the 2000/Kerry version of the album

2001 - Original production, Jenny's vocals replaced Kerry's - included on the 2001/Jenny album re-release

2004 - New production for Greatest Hits era

Thanks for clearing it up Jay

Not a massive fan of Kerry but she did sparkle on the original Right Now as it was the right kind of fun uptempo song for her voice. One of the only Kerry versions I regularly go back to.

Jenny did a nice job too though on it and I did like the 2004 remix, it was a bit more disco-y and dancy. It's weird they ended up re-releasing it at all as a single though, but then 2004-2008 Atomic Kitten was certainly an era, with Cradle in 2005, which was an album track from 2000 (given a new mix sure). Then in 2006 a cover of The Farm's All Together Now with a cartoon mascot for Germany's World Cup and then in 2008 a cover of CIlla Black's Anyone Who Had A Heart for a Liverpool project.

I will start listening to the playlist now I've got back on the site!

Regarding ‘Right Now’ i love the version on the original GH album ! Which version is this? LOL, regardless this is scoring high from me!

David has one of his best out there and Kelly!

I agree this is a much better round!

I didn’t realise they kept releasing music intermittently. I thought they just stopped in 2004.

Right Now 2004!

Thanks Jay for clearing it up but yes, 2001 is very much the Jenny version!!

Voted! It is a strong round, and nice contrast to the ballad round as many songs were fun, uplifting or rousing in some way. Nice that there are still a few discoveries to be had at this stage too as I thought we'd be well into the territory of only UK hits by now.

Oh 😂 so is Kerry’s version not even on Spotify?

Only just realised voting is private in this round too! Mysterious !

Kerry's version is available via the single release, in a slightly shorter radio edit version!

However, the original 2000 album with Kerry isn't on Spotify. The 2001 Jenny version is:

Confusingly, it doesn't use the correct artwork. It's using the single artwork, when it really should be using this:

Their label has never bothered fixing this. It's been years!

Voted, was tough as don’t think there’s a bad song at all this week all pretty similar in how much I like them honestly

Finished my first listen through! So hard to call who could be in danger here - especially with the votes being private.

I enjoyed both of these but my initial guess would be that maybe Rosalia/Delta could be in trouble? (Watch me be completely wrong and they’re top 2 of the round lol)
