May 23May 23 Author I reckon the demand would be there for the nostalgia of it. Wembley Arena is a 12,500 capacity space. When they last did a gig in 2003 in London for Eye Candy it was at the Hammersmith Apollo which is about a third or so of the size of Wembley Arena so it's not too big of a jump.
May 23May 23 Yeah given it's being billed as a one night event, I think Wembley could work (a wider arena tour would probably not). This has made me realise that I only actually know their singles! Must listen to the albums as I'd kill to hear Scandalous live x

Where are these additional 8k fans going to come from?OK I might be one of those 8k if the price is reasonable, but I live in London so it's handy for me. If I lived in Birmingham for example there's no way I'd go.
May 23May 23 Author I think there's an underestimation in the popularity of nostalgia. They have almost a million monthly listeners on Spotify and I'd imagine a large proportion of those will be from the UK. They broke up over 20 years ago and still their music is popular today, it's not like they faded into irrelevance and Alesha has been consistently in tbe public eye since too.It will be known next week based on how difficult it is to secure those tickets I guess 😂
May 23May 23 I think it's probably likely that there'll be a tour off the back of this, even if it's more mid-sized venues to begin with as that was where they usually toured the first time round like academies and theatres.Honestly though. I've been on a binge of all their singles today. Short but sweet and flawless. "B With Me" in particular is still absolute fire, as is "Scandalous", "All I Want" and "Can't Get It Back".
May 24May 24 Author Love that the singles back catalogue is now on streaming, including the video edit of One Night Stand which blends the Stargate and Sunship versions together. It has bugged me for ages that the Scandalous video had a slightly different mix used for its middle 8, final chorus and outro and now I know it's the Jazzwad remix 😯It has been so long since I heard This Is How We Do It.On 22/05/2026 at 20:16, -Jay- said:Roll On/This Is How We Do It is missing for Spotify It's there now!
May 24May 24 I think they'll sell out Wembley arena. As a few people have mentioned the nostalgia will sell it as well as the fans and if there is BGT performance that will help it too. I'm not sure whether they'll do a full tour or not. It feels like they want to celebrate but not sure if anything more will come of it i.e a longer tour or a new album. Having done some checks there's still quite a few remixes missing from the recent uploads. If anyone wants a list, I have one.
May 25May 25 I haven’t listened to Lickin On Both Sides in 24 years so I can only really remember Why? All I Want, One Night Stand and B With Me. And I never actually listened to Eye Candy, just Scandalous. So I think I’ll need to give both albums a listen through this week.
Wednesday at 10:105 days Wasn't easy this morning as my presale code wasn't sent out but I eventually managed to secure a ticket!!! Floor seating but further back so a decent price too!
Wednesday at 10:265 days Been listening to them a lot since the singles catalogue went out. One of the remixes of All I Want (Blacksmith R&B Rerub) has a male rapper that makes me laugh 'I want a dream chick who looks like Sabrina, but not the teen witch' and 'shoot the breeze with my crew and Su-Elise'. Also I remember the joint video to Roll On/This Is How We Do It so well, it's nice to hear those songs again.
Thursday at 04:014 days I listened to Lickin' On Both Sides for the first time since 2002 today on my walk.I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it. There was nothing as strong as the singles but it was still a very decent debut album.Eye Candy up next perhaps.

That said, Scandalous was a huge hit and gave them their first US chart entry so might’ve been enough to launch a third era successfully. 🤔They were pretty much in Geri Halliwell territory at this point, successful first era with hits and a platinum album. Second album had a big first single which went Gold and then the follow up singles didn't do much (although Geri did manage a third top 10 from the era) and the second album didn't sell as well going Gold. Enough to probably justify a third album but I could see that following a similar trajectory too and bombing, they were never really as big as the other girl bands ala Atomic Kitten, Sugababes, Girls Aloud... big for the Garage scene but not the music scene as a whole. That being said I loved their first album, it was one of my favourites to listen to.
Friday at 05:353 days Author Eye Candy was always the better album for me despite the first album having the better singles run. There are some brilliant album tracks!
