I read that it was fron the Period recordings (which would make sense as i'm getting Attention/Joyride lovechild vibes from this) but not sure how true this is

Her more recent stuff is either solid 11/10 or a bit messy, and for me sadly this falls into the latter (Attention/Boy Crazy also belonging there) but I thought similar with Joyride which grew on me months after its release to become an absolute banger so maybe this will do the same!
