That was intense! I'm not really sure what was the point of the last bit in the text about Leo!? Or the very last conversation at the end from two years prior? Felt like it would have been more powerful to have left it on the street tbh.

But it was so powerful!

  • This is FANTASTIC! I am hooked already. Also my co-workers nephew is playing David Morrisey's older son in it... some awkward viewing for them. 😂

  • I waited to binge all of the eps and have got just the final episode to watch this evening. I don't know if I want to watch it, as I know its probably going to be really hard viewing - but need to wat

After episode 3 goes out this Sunday the rest of the series will be available to stream

Absolutely impeccable TV and so timely with the far right tsunami crashing through our society right now. It was a risk to show the end point in the first 10 seconds but it paid off, I was completely gripped waiting to see how it got to that point. David Morrissey absolutely murdered the part as well, incredible.

Russell T Davies is the wrong person to be conveying the message given he admitted he just “oh well”s his TERF friends, but powerful anyway. I’m going to be thinking about this for a long long time, real gut punch stop you in the tracks television.

Watched four eps, so one left and that won't be until Friday night. This and Half Man are seriously taking uncomfortably tense TV viewing to a whole different level, huh? Just incredible stuff.

I met Dave Morrissey at a con in Manchester a couple of years ago, and he was the loveliest of guys! He's ridiculously good at playing menacing characters.

Have to admit I prefer his bad guy persona in this in comparison to The Walking Dead (which is actually one of the reasons I stopped watching)

Oh man, I loved him in The Walking Dead. Possibly my fave villain in the history of that show!

He was great as the governor and great in this.

The finale of this show hasn't left my mind since last night. just powerful and disturbing all at once.

Same. I watched it on Monday and actually struggled to sleep. Has been on my mind since

I only have the finale left

The series has been great but I’m not sure how I’ll cope with it

Been a bit reminiscent for me as well because I lived in Manchester and went into Spit N Polish (The Church/Churchills) a lot
