Six minutes of added time left in this match can Algeria get an goal back or can Argentina extend their lead.

Messi hat-trick it is then. Crazy how he’s at his 6th World Cup and he’s looked better and better at each one.

Austria were not entirely convincing but got the job done in the end. More like the team that lost to Turkey than the one that excitingly beat the Netherlands at the last Euros.

I think their goal that was ruled out for handball should have stood.

Of COURSE i've woken up to news of a Messi hat-trick. Because why not.

Honestly, playing Jordan, he could get two.

Unless they are sensible and rest him ready for play offs.

Exactly this, in his "prime" he always underdelivered at the WCs but he's making up for lost time now!

At this rate, this WC will end up being who can reach 20 total goals faster between Messi & Mbappe, although of course Mbappe will have at least 2 perhaps 3 more WCs to add to his tally.

Argentina is definitely a big contender for the title. Strong game from them.

Austria needs some more finetuning, but they also have a good team and they should finish second in this group.
