It wasn’t pretty but Algeria get their win. Ironic that Algeria and Austria will now play each other knowing a draw will suit both after being involved in the Disgrace of Gijón.

  • Magnificent Messi, Wow. The oldest player to score an hat-trick in an World Cup and he matches Klose's record. Quite unbelievable.

  • Messi now goes level with Ronaldo on 15 goals in the all-time World Cup goal list.

This will be the first ever meeting between Jordan and Argentina when they face each other in their final group stage match.

Wondering if Algeria vs. Austria will be a repeat of Paraguay vs Australia, as a draw will guarantee both of them make it through, and they'll probably get equally unsavoury opponents regardless of if they're second or third in the group.

Surely Algeria haven’t forgotten 82, they will def want revenge

Austria and Algeria don't even need to risk themselves today, but I have a feeling Algeria wants to send Austria home.
