Maybe it’s a good thing we don’t have you in charge then 😜🤣

An good thing they wouldn't have me as they would be declined after 10 weeks it has charted regardless of streams increase or decline.

This literally isn't relevant, let it go. Also since when has the chart been a ranking of the biggest names in music? Being #1 doesn't mean you're bigger than Taylor Swift as an artist, it just means

So basically you'd fudge the numbers? lol

Bit disappointing for Hard-Fi in the albums, they've sold a decent amount of tickets over the last year, but it feels that this is nostalgia related, rather than people being interested in the new album. Shame as it's actually decent, although not a patch on 'stars of cctv'.

Toy Story 5 should be in the album chart, not the compilation chart. Titanic in 1998 was in the album chart and both albums were credited to their respective composers with the song from their films appearing on their soundtracks. Either Toy Story 5 should be in the album chart or Titanic should be in the compilation chart

They changed the rules halfway through The greatest showman run though

To be fair, every song on the TS5 album is by Randy Newman other than the Taylor song - so I get it.

That’s why I mentioned Titanic which charted in the album chart. Every track on that album apart from My Heart Will Go On is by James Horner

Is rein me in supposed to have an increase this week assuming the chart consumption?

Another rule I’d change about the charts if I was in control is that if a song dodges ACR 3 times, it will be automatically put onto ACR and if the song is under 3 years old, the only way it would get a reset is 25% increase

Honestly, what is the chart supposed to actually represent with even more manipulation?!

Consumption of Rein Me In is down 881 tonight compared to Monday last week.

At this point I want RMI to continue at the top purely for the comments in this forum x

Which is by James Horner as well, Celine Dion sings it.

It's kinda pointless to follow RMI's sales all the time because it needs 3 weeks of decline in streams compared to the market. Whether it's +/- compared to last week in the mids is totally irrelevant for like 2 weeks.

I have been half expecting to see comments akin to 'oh no, it's having a less strong week, that means it'll be easier to find an increase in the next 2 weeks'

That explains why Titanic charted in the album chart then. So if Randy Newman had wrote I Knew It I Knew You, Toy Story 5 would be charting in the album chart

I'm thinking Taylor's single sales will drastically plummet due to excessive buying during the past tracking week, just like Lover: Live From Paris, however, I doubt it'll go from ~71K to nought the same way Lover the live album did, but I don't see it holding on to the no.1 for a 3rd week

Thats pretty much a given the cds and vinyls for that matter were limited releasenso shes not going to "sell" 40k every week, plus shes bouncing around the 20-30 area on streaming

I wonder if the Swifties will help take the Toy Story 5 OST to the top of the compilation chart? I can see Swifties buying the Toy Story 5 OST just for that song alone

They should release some Tay covers as a limited edition - it would sail to the top.
