if Canada's involvement can't impact songs like Cha Cha Cha/Rim Tim Tagi Dim/Espresso Macchiato/Viva Moldova to enter Billboard Canada Hot 100, then it's a bad move.

I can't figure out whether you support Canada's introduction or not. 😀

Yeah not a great decision. Focus on sorting your issues to get longstanding countries back that mean something to Eurovision, don't look everywhere else to plug gaps in finances and country numbers ma

Meet Canada's 5 Eurovision finalists | CBC News

Five finalists — William Cloutier, Josiane, Rêve, Talk and Tyler Shaw — are competing to become Canada’s first Eurovision entrant in 2027. Canadians can watch their performances online and vote up...

The five acts competing are:

William Cloutier

Josiane

Rêve

Talk

Tyler Shaw

Wow, this could be a very big deal for Rêve if she wins it.

She was #1 hope so I’m very glad she’s in contention right from the first possible year! She’d be an amazing introductory candidate ❤️

I hope it’s Reve after how vocal she’s been and how tuned in she is to what would do well. I think the novelty factor of Canada entering will boost whoever gets selected à la Guy Sebastian for Australia in 2015.

I haven’t actually heard of any of the other artists in the running tbh! Seems like they really wanted some Francophone representation.
