The first semi-final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup sees an repeat of the Euro 2024 as favourites France take on Spain at the Dalla Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

For France, it was an 2-0 win to beat Morocco to reach their eighth World Cup semi-final, their third in a row.

For Spain, it was an late winner needed to beat Belgium to reach only their second World Cup semi-final, their first since 2010.

Hard one to predict really. Should be a good match.

Bookies slightly favour France as they do England on Wed but not that much.

I think it's unlikely but it would be nice to see a match akin to the 1st leg of PSG Vs Bayern Munich in the Champions League. Throw all defensive tactics out of the window and just attack attack attack and end up with a 5-4, 4-4 type of score line in 90 minutes. These two teams owe the World that haha.

Not sure deschamps would see it like that lol. Spain are really boring too.

Really looking forward to this one, a very exciting looking game! Watch it be 0-0 and the most boring game of the tournament now I’ve said that 😂

I feel like strategically it’s best to back Spain but I can’t help but prefer the French team. lol I feel like the latter will make it an exciting match anyhow.
