Help us choose out entry for BJSC 186. Thanks, as always, for contributing to the success of The Spodic Empire at BuzzJack Song Contest.

This month we've gone for up to the minute pop.

First up, and apologies for the vegan amongst you, it's Reve with Devour.

Next is Mae Muller - a Eurovision pop artist highlight of mine from the last couple of years - with Wheels Come Off

And finally, another Eurovision alumnus LUNA with Away with the Fairies

Devour is great, that riff production reminds me of Hello by Stafford Brothers/Christina Milian. Another top five for Rêve surely. I voted for that.

However, the other two are really strong too. Mae's best song in a few releases and has a strong top ten shot, and LUNA's I'm sure would be another top ten.

Well this is a change of pace for The Spodic Empire but I really like/love all 3, and know them already.

Given Reve’s current run of multiple top 5s and having seen this in a few personal charts, I think she’ll be touch and go for the veto. I was tempted to switch to her last contest but decided against it.

My favourite of these is Away With The Fairies (and the least cheap of the 3) - again, a song I confirmed, but switched away from.

I went for “Devour” but I’m probably not the target audience for this selection.

Rêve I should theoretically love, but it feels like it might end up like the Baby Jane entries (which I didn't really warm to) - I think you'd get a hit with it though!

I preferred 'Heavenly' by LUNA, but I do like this song too! Again, could see it doing really well!

Mae Muller's new song is my fave of the three! That's not usually a good sign if you're looking to win, I still haven't given a winner big points since I returned. 🤣

I think you'd be onto a hit whichever of these are chosen... No idea on veto-bility, I was surprised my entry wasn't vetoed last month - and equally surprised that Cherry Bomb's new song was... I really don't have a clue it seems 🤣🤣🤣

Surprised Devour is so far behind Luna, thought the former sounded like a gold plated smash!

I feel like Devour is an autoveto at this point…

I've decided to go with something else. These songs, as good as they are, don't feel authentically Spodic.

We wish them well should they be chosen by someone else.
