I presume they're pushing this on the back of Nicole's buzz around ADÉLA but yeah, this era's been pretty hit (KGB and Ain't In LA) and miss (don't care for Red Bottoms at all) for me and this falls more into the latter camp tbh

Well unless they filmed the video, edited and got it together in like a week… I doubt it. I assume it was always planned to be the song they push on release week.

The video looks great. Love the AMC Theatres advert stuff! Intrigued by the song, the snippet I heard via Zane’s interview was intriguing.

This grew on me rapidly, it’s very Doja Cat - gives me kinda Paint The Town Red kinda vibes, right down to the old timey sample in the background, and thrilled to see how quickly she’s racing to a second hit.
