  • Those alternating up and down arrows are aesthetically pleasing *.*

  • perhaps not the official rock chart though, where 'Iris' is currently spending its 267th week at #1

I've always thought that having an actual album chart aired would be good, especially to hear full tracks from acts that never bother the singles chart so this is the closest we'll get I guess

okay but why this one 😭

it's the best-performing track from the album still, makes sense to play it instead of an album track even if I'd rather they gave Pop, Coming Up Roses or Ready, Steady Go! a spotlight instead

Official Homegrown Albums Chart

06 Ellie Goulding - Black Prada Dress (from I Know Too Much)

07 Dexys Midnight Runners - LOVE

08 Ricky Warwick - Fire & Vengeance
09 Paris Paloma - The Fatal Flaw

For anyone interested I only recently discovered 'American Girls' is actually quite the rip-off of this 90s track in the production!!

They should have gone with "Dance No More", but "American Girls" is the one which had more success after "Aperture".

Americaj girls has been more succesful its platinum , aperture isnt yet

oh black prada dress sounding extra good rn

I really like Ellie's album! Black Prada Dress is a particular highlight. This whole era deserves soooo much more.

wouldve loved to hear Paris, especially since shes already on R1’s playlist which is the theme they are mainly going for with this chart clearly.
