I'd be inclined to add Depeche Mode to this. I think they will outlast New Order, although we await their two really big hits. I feel like Depeche Mode's mentor is playing a slow, strategic game, and there are so many classics left in their arsenal as a result. With Gamu, it depends who gets back. If, e.g. it was Vengaboys due to that one huge smash, I think they could swiftly exit again (after one last successful hurrah to Ibiza maybe). But there are some real threats in there. Agnes still has so much quality and depth, and Years & Years would have all of their biggest hits left in play. Dido could last at least a few more weeks too with the singles she has remaining.

Yeah the Gamu round will be interesting; we also don't know yet how many acts might return.

Might just be a fight for 1 position.

Hoping for a You Spin Me Round clean sweep in the Gamu round, so at least we have an obvious first eliminee in the lives

That’s without the current eliminations added to the mix.

I think there’s every possibility we have Midnight Sun added to the mix after this week, and then, quite possibly, a Groovejet or a Running Up That Hill.

Personally, if you genuinely feel that Damien () doesn’t stand a chance whatever he sends, I’d just send a song you love that you want people to hear / experience :)

I agree with this. The only issue I've had so far is the Tinashe entry in the male cat, which coincidentally I disliked anyway so ranked bottom. I do like How deep is your love though so I am conflicted in how to vote this one really. 🤨 Otherwise the Calvin picks have been really good thus far.

In the lives I won't be so bothered as it is a free for all then.

I’m in the same boat as Electro and Spice regarding Calvin. I think their mentor is making very calculated moves, and it’s working very well so far!!!
