A new studio album every 2 years (not including folklore/evermore - but Covid times/releases are such an outlier in general). Re-recordings in 2021 & 2023/between the new albums (much like a greatest hits or a deluxe repackage imo - except to less fanfare. I think Red TV was the only one to get actual promotion with performances? - the last 2 TV's were just on the hype of ERA's tour)

She's said in so many interviews that she doesn't want to take breaks and that she just likes making music and releasing. If she's happy doing that as it's her job, that's perfectly fine, imo. A singer/performer's job is to perform, create and release music. They can go at whatever pace they're most comfortable with.

I still don't see the real issue tbh. I just think some people just don't like that she's been so successful at doing a rollout, for as long as she has been, with it. You're all too used to a quick fall from Grace and it's not happened when you've wanted/expected it.

To quote her own single father figure

"They say they want to see you rise, they dont want you to reign"

For me it's just the quality, if you're doing quantity you've got to have the quality to back it up and it just feels like a constant downslide since Midnights.

Quality is subjective Peppa pig has an album with higher pitchfork score than sabrina, Taylor , ariana and multiple other artists and id bet my life savings its not a masterpiece its Peppa freaking pig

When it literally always says 1 or 2 per person and people who dont follow those rules have had their orders cancelled in the past , thats very unlikely

I do like it though but it does feel very out of place on the album it very different to anything from the main album

Not really doing much for me on the first listen sadly.

It feels a bit like a filler album track for me.

What has happened to her creativity, I don't get it. This is so mid, again.

It doesn’t fit the showgirl theme but it’s stronger than the vast majority of that original album for me.

I really really hope her next album isn’t a straight up pop album though and that she goes back to country or back to the introspective sounds of folklore / evermore.

It sounds like it samples Call Your Girlfriend, especially in the beginning.

I've been such a swiftie for as long as I can remember but this whole era has been such a misfire- Patient Zero is so under baked and she sounds bored as hell.

I’m sorry, but the 4 songs easily shits out the entire original album, bar ‘TFOA’, ‘Opalite’ and ‘Elizabeth Taylor’ for me.

To me, this is very Tortured poets coded but with a dusting of showgirl vibes. I do really like the song though & think it'll take time to grow. The music video will definitely help it come to life.

In terms of how it falls out of the 4 new songs, I'd rank it as 2 with pink clouding being the absolute best. That's how the showgirl album should have sounded from the start.

The more I listen to them the more I think they wouldnt be out of place on 1989TV
