Some of the content like the chart show will survive on BBC Sounds of course like the chart show but the actual concept of radio will be dead outside of hobbyists in 20 years time.

Ish. 1 hour ago, pop enthusiast said:Radio 1 won't exist in 20 years.Not a world I want to live in after listening since I was six in 1989!It's like a marriage, I mean we've had our ups and downs especially when I had that five-year sulk after Mark and Lard were binned off and I turned into a bit of an indie snob before I got massively back into it around 2009/2010.Amazing presenters can come and go, as can really crap ones from YouTube/TikTok etc and sometimes the playlist gets into a bit of a lull especially when a trend I'm not massively into dominates an era, but I wouldn't be without it. Then again, I might not exist in 20 years either.

Can't cost much to run either, isn't it mainly repeats from the main station's overnight output?Definitely think they'll be gunning for telly first, BBC Three comeback has just turned out to be a load of Top Gear repeats etc by all accounts.
