the "ooh-aah"'s before the "If you're gonna leave me brokenhearted" bit sound a bit similar to those in Everywhere's chorus I guess? it's not massively similar but I'd imagine that's where people are seeing the comparison

it gained 35% on Halloween week on Spotify last year but given more of the build-up might be in the pre-Halloween tracking week this year it could end up with its gains split across two weeks and avoid getting a reset

Tbf Dracula was already doing very well without the Halloween effect last year, so it probably has a better chance of a boost from it this year

Taylor made a mistake by not including I Knew It I Knew You as one of the tracks on her album reissue. It might have helped to sell the album more too

Possibly. But also maybe the opposite. Halloween being on a Saturday means parties will be held on Friday and Saturday and this spike alone might be enough to compensate for a whole week of pre-Halloween streaming.

Not many songs these days don't sound like something previously recorded. Its increasing difficult to be original, Babydoll, The Man I Need are IMO good old fashioned pop songs, It took awhile but Stop the wedding is sticking in my head
