A nice timely website update for a change. Shame to see Ashe off already but great for Tom getting an insta-add!

okay so thats probably ruled out RAYE for that surprise live lounge slot then. Love to see Yung Lean and Anderson .Paak x Cordae move up, even if i'd prefer it to be Freya.

That B List is STACKED now. Chase & Status, Rach Chinouriri, Slayyyter, Tinashe and Westside Cowboy are all fab songs to move up.

Love the new songs from Zach Bryan and Sasha Keable, a great switch for Royal Blood too. Weird they're only adding Slick now and ijbol at Tom G debuting C List.

Joy. & Stop The Wedding! dropped already??? That’s stupid

Just heard the Anderson/Cordae song this morning for the first time and it is a tune - good to see that, GENER8ION and Tinashe moving up.

?? at Victony just being added now - a blink and you'll miss it low top 100 hit from 3 months ago!

Ashe being removed already is a bit of a shocker. I guess she’ll get high recurrent plays.

Still feels like a lot they could add, I’m thinking Chris Lorenzo, KETTAMA/Prospa and Holly Humberstone. The latter in particular I was expecting today, she’s been getting a few spot plays and it sounds like a slam dunk Radio 1 favourite. Her deluxe is out on the 13th November so I’m hoping she’s added next week and it goes C-B-A.

I was also expecting to see CHVRCHES, Noah Kahan and maybe Rose Gray, there's loads they could add at the moment

As much as I’d love Rose Gray to be added, I’m not expecting her to be added as they rarely bother with her unfortunately. The biggest chance was just after ‘Just Be Bodies’ was TOTW on breakfast, but hope has faded.

they've played it at least twice this morning so it's definitely still in rotation!

'Smoke' on the A-list, what a song

1998 was such an incredible year for pop, indie AND dance, good to see so much of it on the playlist! Back then I had Radio 1 on pretty much all day!

yea honestly some of the songs they're currently not adding are very weird. we could easily see songs like these here:

Barry Can't Swim x Sammy Virji - I Could Be Madonna

Bebe Rexha - One Day

D.O.D x Flynn - Promise You

Faouzia - UNETHICAL

Holly Humberstone - Too Cute To Be Lonely

KETTAMA x Prospa - Think Of You

LISA - SaWaDiKa

MK x Tristan Henry - Leaving

Noah Kahan - Orbiter (even if its insanely mid)

oh and while i mention LISA, ‘Tarantino’ is tune of the weekend.

Great to see South Arcade back on the playlist! Their last couple of releases were snubbed (I thought they were also excellent), but this is more in line with the songs they supported before!

Really like the BBC Introducing track too, I charted 'Hotter On The Internet' for a couple of weeks when it was released a month or so ago!

Maybe due to RAYE winning the Mercury prize?

Did Chers post ‘Believe’ era get R1 playlisted or was that a one off huge hit at that point in her career?
