February 11, 200719 yr Or any charts for that matter. :( I do think 'A Public Affair' deserved more though, a rare moment of brilliance from her. She's quite big in Ireland :P
February 11, 200719 yr Jeez why is everyone against Jess, she hasn't done anything wrong  I suppose Jessica Simpson's soul purpose in life in to make bland vacuous records that make Britney Spears seem Godlike in comparison. Well Done to Nelly Furtado, SayIt Right is really growing on me......
February 11, 200719 yr 18 (from 28) Sophie Ellis Bextor Catch You http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/PRERELCDSBEX.JPG Chart Run: 28-18 She's back. Sophie Ellis-Bextor returns with her brilliant new single 'Catch You', which includes a hook so infectious that it that burrows into your brain and stays there in a three minute spin that washes out nu-wave angular guitars with a nagging pop melody. Destined to cause murder on the dancefloor, 'Catch You' is taken from Sophie's eagerly anticipated third album of 21st century pop, entitled 'Trip The Light Fantastic'. I think the singles are definitely the 4 best songs on the album. Still, the other tracks are quite good too
February 11, 200719 yr At this rate Catch You is not going to be the sure-fire Top 3 Hit that I thought it was going to be when I first heard it.
February 11, 200719 yr Oh yes, the country where you only need 50 copies to be top 40? That's irrelevant. Other artists only need 50 copies to be top40 too, so the competition is the same

February 11, 200719 yr 38 Nelly Furtado - All Good Things 37 Long Blondes - Giddy Stratospheres http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/RTRADSCD387.JPG Chart Run: 37 The bona fide cult classic 'Giddy Stratospheres' by Long Blondes gets a well-deserved re-release. Originally released back in 2004, this live favourite and highlight of their album 'Someone To Drive You Home' is accompanied by new b-sides across all formats. - HMV Video here: 0lFsSvLKnHE track listing 1. Giddy Stratospheres 2. Giddy Stratospheres [Radio Edit] 3. All Bar One Girls 4. Giddy Stratospheres [Video] This is the group's third top 40 hit but lowest charting of the three to date so far, maybe they should be all-girl band instead of a co-ed rock band
