'Chasing Cars' is the second single to be taken from Snow Patrol's platinum album 'Eyes Open'. Following the success of first single 'You're All I Have' and it's immediate cementing as huge live favourite, the release of 'Chasing Cars' is eagerly anticipated and is shaping up to deliver the band their biggest song yet. First previewed during the bands tour with U2 in summer 2005, 'Chasing Cars' is Snow Patrol at their emotional best; a hook laden epic ballad that builds from a simple keyboard/ vocal refrain into a widescreen, guitar fuelled, string drenched, indie/ rock track that is irresistible from start to finish. - HMV

2 seconds too many, imo :(

*Gary rolls in in Rolls Royce*

"So Gary did you get this with the money from your high album sales?"

"No I got it from download sales of Chasing Cars"

Chasing Cars will probably go up again next week, their new single is out tomorrow
Sick to death of Chasing Cars now, but I'd rather hear it 100 more times than hear the awful chav anthem that is Smack That ever again. :P
Smack that, all on the floor

 10 years later and it's still inside the top 40.

I actually do like 'Chasing Cars,' but I don't have any idea who is still buying it. I bought it on CD single when it was first released.

Their new single dropped this week :kink:
Chasing Cars will probably rise yet again next week after the Brits ?

Their new single dropped this week :kink:

Really? :o I thought it might have climbed into the top 20, I expect the reason it had a rise in sales last week was because of it being played on the final of CBB.

Ashanti Thread Here

People are still buying Hips Don't Lie, Crazy and I don't feel like dancing...

Downloads have change the chart quite a lot... and nowadays people can download a song anytime they want... they don't need the cd anymore

I can't believe 2Pac is still making records from beyond his grave
