I love the Carry On films ^_^. Well, the ones with all the classic characters anyway. Sid James, Charles Hawtrey, Kenneth Williams, Joan Sims, Barbara Windsor, Hattie Jacques etc . . .

Are you on about UKTVGold showing them all day?

There's only so many times you can watch a carry on film, however looking now 'Don't lose your head' looks like one I have failed to see, dunno how cos I was brought up watching them, my dad must have saved me the pain of watching it lol.

no it was itv1 at the time

The earlier Carry Ons were great, and risque without being too 'in yer face'. I think they reached an all time low with Carry On Emmanuelle though!
I've got the whole collection apart from Carry on Columbus, I love the old ones they are classics, my favourite will have to be Carry on Camping, where Babs bra comes off.... and up the Khyber ooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh matron
clares spot on... theres only so many times they are funny... they were funny, great british smutty humour, but the jokes just dont stand the test of time.
Any chance of moving this to the Cinema Forum? I'm not really sure of the relevance on this forum to be honest, I thought that the Retro Forum was more to do with retro music....

I enjoy them...and for some reason I really like Carry On Abroad and can watch it over and over again...even though it's one of the later ones and a bit rubbish really.

"Screaming" is a real classic...and, yeah, Camping is brilliant - apart from the end which is so "of it's time" it ruins it.

I can watch them over and over again. I think they're great!

is that the one with Vic Flange

Yeah, Vic Flange on his way to Els Belles, hoping to lose Joan Sims on the way and beat Jimmy Logan to Barbara Windsor.

is that the one with Vic Flange

I don't know - what's or who is Vic Flange? - I'm assuming that's a 'character name'

It had the usual team in it - the hotel collapses on the lot of 'em and the big tall guy (can't remember his name Bernard something?) ... is an amourous Monk :D - if that helps? :P

Yeah, that's Carry On Abroad. Vic Flange is Sid James' character.

Father Monk : "Do you fancy that Brother Bernard?"

Brother Bernard : "Not 'alf"

and also Carry On London

Did they actually made that in the end.
